Fiona Rene from I Know What You Did Last Summer Interview

I had the opportunity to chat with Fiona Rene Series Regular from Amazon’s “I Know What You Did Last Summer” and Play Stations new game ” We Are OFK” which is voice of Jey Zhang. We talk about Fiona’s career coming to Hollywood from London. How she was able to break into voice over work and the school of Hollywood tip on cartoon auditions.

Multi-faceted, Chinese-American actress, voice artist, immersive director and educator, Fiona Rene will voice Jey Zhang, indie pop band OFK’s producer, in PlayStation’s interactive and episodic narrative game, We Are OFK. We Are OFK, slated to release in 2022, follows the lives of the band members Itsumi Saitō, Carter Flores, Jey Zhang and Luca Le Fae as they attempt to break into the music business, fall in and out of love and figure out how to pay rent and make art in Los Angeles. Alongside Fiona Rene on this highly anticipated project is Ally Maki (Netflix’s “Dear White People”), Greg Chun (Netflix’s “Squid Games”), Yuri Lowenthal (Marvel’s SPIDER-MAN), and many more talented individuals.

Rene is recently best known for her role as Lyla on Amazon Video’s “I Know What You Did Last Summer”, also starred as Kara Lee on ABC’s “Stumptown,” her first recurring role in which she played Michael Ealy’s love interest. Her other credits include ABC’s “Grey’s Anatomy,” FOX’s “LA’s Finest,” and The CW’s “Jane the Virgin,” in which she played the role of ‘Celeste,’ a lesbian mother who goes on a playdate with Jane (Rodriguez) and her son. Rene is also a successful voiceover actor in animation, radio, promo, narrative and commercial. She has voiced for the Freeform network’s “The Bold Type” and “Good Trouble” along with several other animation projects. She is also best known for being one of the hosts in LATV’s “Get it Girl” where she dives into fun, culturally relevant, provocative and attention-grabbing conversation. Alongside acting, Rene has worked extensively in theater and animation in addition to voiceover work and has worked as an interactive performance director, creative consultant, and performance manager.

Interview with Anna Tierney star of Three Pines on Amazon.

Anna Tierney is a Drama Centre London graduate; her training was supported through many awards and the support of actors including Jeremy Irons, Ian McKellen, and Ian McShane. 

Upon graduation she landed a role on BBC’s long running series Doctors, and performed with The Globe, The National, and The Royal Shakespeare Company. In North America Anna performed at the Guthrie and Royal Alexandra Theatres with frequent collaborators Out of Joint Theatre in Our Country’s Good. 

Film and television credits include the animated series Summer Lane Drive, the feature PSYCHO GOREMAN that premiered at SXSW and the limited Channel 4 series Deceit where she met showrunner Emilia Di Girolamo.  Anna and Emilia reunited on the Amazon series Three Pines based on Louise Penny’s Gamache series in which Anna is a series regular.Born in Manchester, to Irish and Austrian ancestry, Anna speaks fluent German. Off-screen she plays roller derby and converted a dilapidated narrow boat into a home, Anna divides her time between London and Toronto.
