Well I have to say I was a little kid when this this song came out and with music set the creepiness of the movie THE EXORCIST. Everyone around was scared and went to Church after watching the movie. Still to this day Linda Blair face appears in my mind. But the song is still remain a master pieces.

Tubular Bells : 50TH Anniversary Tour is a making-0f, narrated by acclaimed actor BILL NIGHY, about the debut studio album by English musician Mike Oldfield, released on 25 May 1973 as the first album on Virgin Records. The opening track, of course, was used by THE EXORCIST – which is when it really gained a following.

Los Angeles, CA – Mike Oldfield’s iconic Tubular Bells took the world by storm when it launched in 1973, and nearly 50 years later continues to sell over 100,000 albums per year, with a total of 17.5 million copies sold worldwide and 18 million streams.

In honor of the 50^th year anniversary of this ground-breaking album, on November 18^th, 2022 Cleopatra Entertainment will be releasing a new concert and documentary film entitled THE TUBULAR BELLS 50^th ANNIVERSARY TOUR. Filmed over three nights at the world-famous Royal Festival Hall in London, this contemporary masterpiece incorporates the beauty of the original music with dance and acrobatic feats by the Circa Contemporary Circus as well as stunning performances of Moonlight Shadow, Mike Oldfield’s biggest single hit, along with Summit Day, from his Guitars album, and The Gem, a new work by Musical Director Robin Smith.

Also featured is a fascinating 90 minute behind-the-scenes documentary, narrated by BAFTA winner, Bill Nighy. The feature-length documentary explores the history and legacy of Tubular Bells, and closely follows the dramatic story behind the spectacular new production. As a bonus, the special feature on the home entertainment Blu Ray and DVD versions includes Turning Back the Clock – an interview with Mike Oldfield and Richard Branson. Cleopatra’s VOD version will be released, on December 13^th, 2022, just in time for the Holiday season.

The rights deal was brokered by Cleopatra Founder and CEO Brian Perera, Tim Yasui VP/GM of Cleopatra Entertainment, and by Kaleidoscope Film Distribution on behalf of the filmmakers.

The Waco Family & Faith International Film Festival has finalized its event programming and slate of films for its 4th Annual outing, presenter the GB Lindsey Family Charitable Fund has announced.

The 2023 Waco festival presents 31 feature, short, student and animated projects from around the world and right here in Texas at theaters across Waco, including the Hippodrome Theatre, Regal Cinemas-Hollywood Theaters and other local venues. Curated by Festival Founder and Executive Director Dr. Tyrha M. Lindsey-Warrenand her programming team, the films are grouped thematically and programmed in 2-3-hour blocks of three to six films each: “Opening Night,” “Family Day,” “The Power of Faith,” “Black History Month,” “Love Conquers All,” and “Closing Night (2 blocks).” So far, seven of the filmmakers are appearing in person to support their films.

“We’ve intentionally programmed the Festival in blocks to give our visitors a complementary selection of features, episodic programming, student work, and animation,” Dr. Lindsey-Warren says. “We want our visitors and guests to have a satisfying, complete experience whether they are viewing one collection of films—or ALL of them.”

“The Festival team and I are so grateful to emerge from the pandemic and present this event in Waco for a fourth year” Lindsey-Warren continues. “Storytelling and imagery in movies truly matter in our society. Now more than ever, we need the power of positive storytelling to open hearts and minds.

As one of the most popular family and faith film festivals in the country, Lindsey-Warren and her programming team had hundreds of submissions to evaluate. Back in 2019, the Waco Family & Faith International Film Festival received 1,688 film entries from 109 countries and across five continents. This year’s edition presents 31 films from such countries as Italy, France, India, Brazil, the United Kingdom, Argentina, and China, as well as Iran, The Czech Republic, Switzerland, and Montenegro, to name a few.
