Vitamin String Quartet (VSQ) has released their new EP VSQ Performs KPop Demon Hunters via CMH Label Group/Vitamin Records. The project features seven classical string renditions from the hit musical fantasy film, including new versions of the standout tracks “Golden” and “Soda Pop.”
“One of the most VSQ things is taking something big and stylized like KPop Demon Hunters, breaking it down to four acoustic players, and building it back up again,” says James Curtiss, Director of A&R at CMH. “Our take on ‘Soda Pop’ turns a massive CGI moment into something more hand-drawn, simple, and human.”

The EP arrives during a highly productive run for VSQ, following VSQ Performs Billie Eilish, VSQ Performs BLACKPINK, VSQ Performs the Hits of 2025, and VSQ Performs Frank Ocean, which earned praise from outlets including COMPLEX, Exclaim!, and Rolling Stone.
VSQ recently performed their version of a-ha’s “Take On Me” on The TODAY Show and discussed their creative approach with NPR’s Here & Now. With over 2 billion streams, more than 1 million physical units sold, and prominent placements in Bridgerton, the group has brought classical-pop crossover to a global audience. VSQ has landed 11 charting Billboard releases, including VSQ Performs Taylor Swift, which hit #1 on both the Classical and Classical Crossover charts.
