Today, British singer, songwriter, and actress Asha Banks shares her latest single, “Too Busy Missing You,” appearing on the soundtrack for Prime Video’s eagerly awaited new series, Off Campus, available now. Listen to “Too Busy Missing You” HERE
Co-written with Max Wolfgang [Olivia Dean, Ed Sheeran], “Too Busy Missing You” captures the lingering ache of heartbreak and the struggle to move on while grappling with the pain of an ex who has already found love with someone else. Asha shares, “‘Too Busy Missing You’ is about missing out on life whilst being hung up on someone. It describes a feeling I’d found hard to articulate until I started writing this song, so I really hope people relate!”
She continues,“I’m also so so excited that the song is being featured in the Prime Video series and soundtrack of Off Campus. Music for film and television has always been something I’ve been so interested in exploring, so having music in this highly anticipated show is a dream!”
“Too Busy Missing You” comes after Banks’ recent collaborative EP with Welsh producer and multi-instrumentalist Novo Amor and English singer-songwriter Lowswimmer, titled Everything Is About You. Featuring the tracks “Anymore,” “Lie To Me,” and “Hear Me Out,” the trio wrote and recorded the EP together in the Welsh countryside during a week of sessions earlier this year, drawing on their creative chemistry and mutual admiration. The project felt like a full circle moment for Asha, who had previously covered Novo Amor’s “State Lines” both online and on tour, as well as often including his music on her playlists.
Last year, Asha released her second EP, How Real Was It?, which earned millions of streams and widespread praise. Atwood Magazine called her “one of the UK’s brightest emerging voices and a definitive artist to watch,” while HUNGER described it as “a pensive yet pop-fueled work, infused with the warmth of La-La Land.” NOTION noted her fearless stage presence, and DORK listed her among its 2026 “Hype List.”
The world has already fallen in love with Asha Banks, enamored by her magnetic presence in-person and on-screen leading Prime Video’s global success My Fault: Londonand Netflix’s hit series A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder, among numerous other film and television credits, with Prime Video recently announcing the sequel Your Fault: London, out this June. However, music has always remained close to her heart. At barely six years old, she penned her very first song and forever harbored a dream of becoming an artist. Growing up, she intently listened to everyone from Joni Mitchell and Norah Jones to Jack Johnson, Johnny Cash, and AC/DC.
Asha recently wrapped her first-ever headline tour across North America, the UK, and Europe, with shows selling out within hours of going on sale. She has already received a slew of critical acclaim from press around the globe, featuring on the cover of Rollacoaster’s Autumn/Winter 2025 issue and gracing a special Digital Cover of NOTION, who proclaimed, “From starring in My Fault: London to releasing her debut EP, actor and singer Asha Banks is opening herself up in all its forms.” Not to mention, last year, she teamed up with BRIT Award-winning and Ivor Novello Award-nominated artist Holly Humberstone to collaborate on her fan favorite single “Dive.” It soundtracked the credits of My Fault: London and landed looks from DORK, The Line of Best Fit, and more, with Asha and Holly delivering a head-turning live rendition of the song at Queen Caroline’s Temple at Hyde Park in London—watch HERE.
