‘‘Hey Ken…’ has long been one of the songs from “Those Days Are Gone” that has, from what I have seen, captured people in a way that a lot of songs can’t,” explains vocalist Cory Castro. “It is raw and emotional, earnest in its intent, and builds up to a finale that pretty much captures what the whole record was about. We couldn’t think of a better person than Tades to feature on this song. After years of being friends, I’ve personally come to believe that Hot Mulligan and Tades are exactly that: raw and emotional, earnest, and able to capture emotions in ways that are so relatable. It just seemed like the perfect fit. We are extremely stoked to have Tades be a part of it.”
“Free throw is my favorite band,” adds Tades Sanville. “They have been for years now. Hot Mulligan is a direct result of hearing ‘Those Days Are Gone’ back in high school. Being attached to a band with such an important legacy within emo music is an honor. The dudes rule and they’re my friends and having the opportunity to perform with my favorite band is something I’ll appreciate very deeply for the rest of my life.” Fans can now pre-order and pre-save ‘Those Days Are Gone’ 10 Year Anniversary ahead of its release on February 28.
