Jimmy Lindsey ASC is an American Cinematographer from Austin, Texas. At an early age, Jimmy fell in love with the art of visual storytelling, which ultimately sparked his desire to become a Director of Photography. After earning his Bachelor’s Degree in Film Production and History at the University of Texas in 1992, he began to work on sets in the camera department where he developed his craft over many years alongside some of the world’s most respected Cinematographers.
As Director of Photography, Jimmy has lensed a wide range of projects for film and television, including “Timeless” for Sony/NBC, the CBS series “Limitless,” Eric Kripke’s “Revolution” for Warner Bros/NBC, MACHETE for 20th Century Fox, Armando Iannucci’s Emmy winning HBO comedy series “Veep,” “Star Trek: Picard” for Paramount +, and most recently “Physical” for Apple.
Jimmy is a member of The American Society of Cinematographers, The International Cinematographers Guild, and The Television Academy. When not shooting on location, he lives in Austin with his two daughters Eleanor and Emma, his wife, Casting Director Beth Sepko, and their dogs Dexy, Luna, and The Dude.
