LOS ANGELES (October 5, 2018) – Former N’Sync bandmember, Lance Bass, stopped by the PodcastOne studios for today’s episode of Heather Dubrow’s World. During the interview, he revealed details about his countdown to kids, the process he’s using – and did he just let it slip that he officially has frozen embryos ready to go? Below is an excerpt from the episode, available now on PodcastOne.com, the PodcastOne app and Apple Podcasts.

Bass: “I’m not going to raise my kids a certain way.”

Dubrow: “Oh, you’re going to have kids?”

Bass: “Oh, ya. We’re having kids, honey.”

Dubrow: “Like now? Is someone pregnant? Shut the front door.”

Bass: “Not pregnant. Not yet, but we’re very close.”

Dubrow: “Really? Oh, I just got chills! I have two frozen embryos if you need them.”

Bass: “Oh, nice! Well, we just froze our boys…I’m super excited. Ya, I mean, we’ve been working on it for a while but we’re getting – ya, we’re getting close.”

Dubrow: “Can I ask you personal questions about this? Because all my friends who are gay, they have different ways of – not all of them – but I’m saying they have different ways of doing this. So, some – like one partner does this kid, and the other partner does the next. I have one friend, a couple, that threw it all in and was like, ‘Let’s see what happens.’”

Bass: “Ya, there’s all kinds of stuff.”

Dubrow: “What are you doing?”

Bass: “Well, what’s amazing is, you know, the whole IVF, you know, situation is incredible, and I’m learning so much, and it’s – I guess – now finally not taboo to talk about it, you know? Because everyone I talk to is like, ‘Oh my god, that’s great.’ And all my friends now are freezing their eggs. I mean, it’s just kind of like everyone talks about it. The way we’re going to do it is – I mean, we found our surrogate within 24 hours.”

Dubrow: “Wow!”

Bass: “Crazy. And our doctor’s incredible, so finding the egg donor is definitely the hardest part, and we’re already on our 5th right now. So, they keep falling out for different reasons, but what’s so great about it is, as confusing as it is, it is amazing that you can look at these embryos, and the egg first or whenever you create the embryos, and you can just tell what the healthiest ones are, and what disease this one might have. It’s just, it’s incredible that science has gotten this far. You know, you can have the healthiest babies possible.”
