Special screening of SEPTEMBER 5 presented in partnership with the Media Impact Funders, which connect grant makers who invest in journalism to share best practices, drive innovation in media philanthropy, and build a stronger media ecosystem. Attendees included representatives from grant making organizations that fund journalistic integrity programs – like Bloomberg, Carnegie, the Ford Foundation, NextNews Ventures, The Revson Foundation, etc. Also in attendance were journalists who have benefitted from some of that investment – representatives from the Overseas Press Club of America, ProPublica, Reuters, TIME and the Wall Street Journal.
