Currently riding the peak of her career, singer and actress Sabrina Carpenter has taken the world by storm this year, delivering not one, but two undeniable summer anthems. Her singles “Espresso” and “Please Please Please” claimed the top spots on the Spotify global chart and the Billboard Hot 100, respectively. Sabrina’s highly anticipated second album, Short n’ Sweet, which dropped on August 23rd, made a massive global impact, debuting at #1 on the Billboard 200. As excitement builds, her already sold-out global tour kicks off on September 23rd.
Adding to her impressive year, Sabrina is now embarking on her first-ever haircare partnership. This natural collaboration was nurtured in the salon over the course of her rise to fame—Sabrina has been a devoted fan of Redken, relying on their professional products, particularly the renowned Shades EQ, the world’s leading demi-permanent hair gloss, to maintain her signature blonde. Her iconic blonde bangs and voluminous style, crafted by her longtime hairstylist Scott King and colorist Laurie Heaps, owe their shine to Redken. Both Scott and Laurie have now officially joined the Redken professional talent team.
A seasoned star in the spotlight, Sabrina will front major advertising campaigns across out-of-home media, television, digital platforms, and social media for the L’Oréal-owned brand. Redken has also signed on as an official partner for her 29-city Short n’ Sweet U.S. tour.
“While summer may be winding down, things are just heating up for us,” says Severine Breton, Redken Brand President. “We are thrilled to welcome Sabrina Carpenter, a true pop culture sensation, to the Redken family. She’s been topping charts globally, and we can’t get enough of her latest hits. And let’s not forget about her iconic hair—whether on social media or the streets of New York, everyone’s obsessed with her blonde, her bangs, and her blowout. This is our biggest partnership to date, and Sabrina’s bold attitude, ambition, and magnetic energy perfectly align with our brand’s values. Our first campaign together is going to be incredible, so stay tuned—it’s going to make a big bang!”
“Beauty, especially my hair, is a huge part of who I am,” Sabrina adds. “I’ve always wanted to partner with the right haircare brand, and Redken has been my secret weapon for keeping my hair looking its best. I’m so excited to share what we’ve been working on.”
Directed by Jacob Bixenman and photographed by Cass Bird, Sabrina’s debut campaign for Redken’s Acidic Bonding Concentrate collection will launch on September 19th, with more campaigns for both consumers and salon professionals to follow.
