Women Behind the Lyrics is a documentary capturing the journey of four female singer-songwriters from different backgrounds on their cross-country tour. F Their new single, “Paved the Way” is co-written by all four artists and is a part of the upcoming Women Behind the Lyrics: Country Edition compilation album.
Memphis native, Nashville-based Wendy Moten is one of the most in-demand background vocalists touring with the likes of Vince Gill, Martina McBride, and Tim McGraw. She was a recording artist on EMI in the 90’s with the single “Come in Out of the Rain”, which charted and landed her on a tour opening for Michael Bolton during his arena years. She has performed at the Grand Ole Opry over 35 times as an artist in the last 5 years. She was the runner-up of Season 21 on The Voice. Her single “You Are Worthy” impacted Music Row this year and was performed at the Grand Ole Opry. She will be inducted into the Memphis Music Hall of Fame on Sept 25.
Knoxville native and Nashville-based Sarah Harralson is a multi-instrumentalist and touring recording artist that is signed with Synapse Publishing & Entertainment, LLC and she recently was awarded the Michael Solomon golden ukelele in 2024 on behalf of Musicians On Call for performing for over 19,000 hospital patients. Her current single, “Put Yourself in My Boots” is currently impacting the Music Row chart.
Delaney Ann is an eighth-generation Texan and country singer-songwriter also signed with Synapse Publishing & Entertainment, LLC. She has opened for artists like Clint Black, Linda Davis, and Dwight Yoakam. Her new single “Old Times Sake” will be released on October 17th.
Pennsylvania-grown and Nashville-based country Americana artist, Judy Paster, breathes life back into the timeless roots music genre. Her artistry has earned national recognition, with Billboard calling her “an artist truly on the rise.” She has released five albums, earned Americana and country radio airplay, and her songs have been featured in film and TV (Christmas Crush, The Holiday Exchange, Music City Mistletoe).
