The Elite Theatre Company is excited to present its upcoming main stage production, ENEMIES OF A HOMETOWN, written by Louise Marie Kiesel and directed by Leslie Vitanza Annrenee. The show runs from May 29 to June 21, 2026, with performances on Fridays and Saturdays at 8 pm, Sundays at 2 pm, and a special Thursday show on June 18 at 8 pm. Tickets are $25 for general admission, $20 for seniors, students, and military personnel, and $15 for groups of five or more. Visit http://www.theelite.org for tickets. This contemporary reimagining of Henrik Ibsen’s AN ENEMY OF THE PEOPLE is set in a fictional coastal California town, where Dr. Stockman uncovers contamination at the site of a new magnet school. His brother, the mayor and a beloved pastor, fights to keep the truth hidden, setting off a battle that tests family bonds and integrity. This will be the company’s final production at its Channel Islands Harbor Fisherman’s Wharf location, as the building is slated for demolition in late July. The Elite Theatre Company, a nonprofit organization and proud member of the Four-Star Theater Awards Committee and the Alliance of Ventura County Theaters, has been entertaining audiences since 1994 and is now seeking a new home for future performances.
